All of us here understand how you feel and I wish that it could all just go back to normal for you. Your life has changed and it's hard to not be in control of something that's taking over your life. There is a process of grieving like any other loss and giving in to this change may be a good place for you to start. I could no longer push through getting to work and had to quit. But try to focus on the fact that you will have good days and with the right treatment more good days than bad. I hope that you have a good doctor and are on a good plan of medications that work for you.

Pain will cause fatigue and chronic illness will cause depression.

I pray that you feel better soon and keep fighting...you are in control of your health plan of action and push for a way of coping.

I realte to all u said, it is consuming at times, and frustrating. Today was one of those days I felt bad then sort of good than forget about it ugghhh. Take care and thanks for ur post

I think we can all relate to your feelings. I feel this way every time a flare occurs, and everytime I feel pain. Please try to hang in there. I try to focus on positive things on my worst days, (easier said than done) but I think how lucky I am that I can still work full time and have a roof over my head, able to walk, etc...... Hope you feel better!

nomorera my AP doc told me that as the Minocycline works more and more my haemoglobin will rise again and the fatigue will subside. The last time I checked it was 9 but the fatigue is a lot better lately. I'm also completely off Prednisone as of today.

thank you all for sympathizing. When I share here I know I am not alone. Today was a good day. I didn't sleep well last night but I had much more energy today and felt better overall. I am off to bed early tonight. I have a long day of training on my new job tomorrow. Thank you all again for your support.

Before they finally made all my diagnosis' (13 years) (to this point! They're's still hope we can develop more issues!) I was at one point so bad that carrying an empty plate with both hads was agony, and felt like the bonesin my hands were breaking and I remember just lying in bed wishing or praying llightening would strike me.
I have been in RA treatment for a year now...and I don't want that lightening anymore

Hi Alicia, I'm so sorry you are having bad days. I'm too very tired of fighting. I've had joint problems since I was 23. I had my first knee replaced at 36. Not long after my other knee also needed replacement. I've also had two levels in my neck fused and replaced. All this time my ortho couldn't find anything but he was convinced somewhere down the road something would show up and we would have our Ahhhhh haaaa moment!! Well I've been having terrible joint pains in my fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, ankles, hips, its been bad. I also just found out what I thought was just a little dry eye was bad dry eye and dry mouth, which eye doc mentioned Sjogren's syndrome. She's what made me see the rheum. Now I've learned my sed rate and C-reactive protein are high, which means inflammatory process. Now its just knowing what I have RA or Lupus. I'm just glad something finally showed up!! I get you and what you are going thru. I'm so exhausted. I have a special needs son too that takes a lot of my time. He's what keeps me going!!! Another thing that's bad is my memory. I can't remember anything. I hope you start having better days. I started prednisone today. Hoping it helps,my pain.
