So close... 16 more school days. I was wondering the other day why the end of this school year seems so exhausting? I realized I took 6 graduate credits this semester! What was I thinking? I wish I could say that I will have a relaxing summer, but with more classes and 3 busy kids, it's not going to happen.
Suggestions welcome of how I can quickly and efficiently "fill my tank". I meditate 2x's daily, but it's not cuttin' it at this point.

I'm also going to school. I have the following accommodations:

Special consideration for tardiness and absences
Permission to use a computer and/or recording device in class for note taking
I take written/essay exams in our testing center, on a computer, and receive extra time so that I can rest as needed
The school provided me with a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking

I have had to cut back on my class load a number of times. I completely understand the desire to race to graduation, but you can only burn the candle at both ends for so long and when you crash, the consequences will be far reaching, including your performance in school. Put your health first.

I was in the last semester of my doctorate when I was diagnosed, I went to my advisor and was encouraged to cut my load in half and finish a little later. Best thing I ever did. To this day I don't know how I made it.

I took 7 years to do my 3 year MDIv. I was doing well with RA at the end, and increased to 3 courses, now, I couldn't do it.

I am taking Intermediate Biblical Greek and I just have the final to study for. I am in the midst of RA brain fog - Greek is all about memorization! So I have been debating whether to go back on a higher dose of prednisone, which would help me do the final well, or just do what I can. I want to start my PhD, but I need to have these 2 extra semesters of Greek. And it is fun, if only I didn't have to study for these grindingly hard finals.

With three kids, no wonder you are exhausted. What meds are you on? And maybe just do it the slow way - one course a semester.

I am currently doing online classes for my BS in Accounting. Between that and working 45 hours a week, I feel like I get overwhelmed often, especially with being recently diagnosed. I have started using essential oils in a diffuser and have set up my own little space to do work and stay focused. I have also let my professors know what is going on and they are very understanding in allowing me to submit assignments late if needed. I have forms for my doctor to fill out to submit to the school and for the disability. Good luck and I hope you find the rest you need.

lots of good thoughts for your three busy kids and their summer schedules :)

are you ok when you are in classes - physically - and who helps with the kids in the summer? (camps? grandma?)
