I have had to cut back on my class load a number of times. I completely understand the desire to race to graduation, but you can only burn the candle at both ends for so long and when you crash, the consequences will be far reaching, including your performance in school. Put your health first.
I am taking Intermediate Biblical Greek and I just have the final to study for. I am in the midst of RA brain fog - Greek is all about memorization! So I have been debating whether to go back on a higher dose of prednisone, which would help me do the final well, or just do what I can. I want to start my PhD, but I need to have these 2 extra semesters of Greek. And it is fun, if only I didn't have to study for these grindingly hard finals.
With three kids, no wonder you are exhausted. What meds are you on? And maybe just do it the slow way - one course a semester.
