I was falling and hurting myself all summer. I broke my ribs one time, the next time, my nose. I had horrible giant bruises everywhere. I walked like a drunk. I finally decided Gabapentin was my problem and weaned from 900 mg a day, to 200 a day. I wasn't falling anymore, and I could walk a straight line.
The catch is, the fibro pain would wake me up screaming at night. But if I even added 100mg, I was back staggering and falling..
Are you on any neurological drugs? Lyrica is one too, I think.
I'm glad they found your infection. Who would have thought falling was a good thing? At least you caught it in time. I hope you continue to improve.
I was sent home ALONE on gabapentin and muscle relaxant and oxycodine!!
Thats how i fell again and wound up BACK in the hospital!
Now im in rehab where i should have been dischRged to in the first place. Getting PT and getting better
At least you are mostly over the contagious period. Work hard! I need someone with a big stick to get me back in shape. But, no surgery or breaking bones to get into rehab. I hope you feel better soon.
I asked him what he was doing and why. It's not what I'm here for and it cant be fixed.
