On the positive note, I have found Aravon Maya heels by New Balance to look okay and not too old lady and extremely comfortable with the roomy toe box.
I would just like to be able to go for my walks again. So hoping fracture shoe will work. Going to try New Balance Walking Athletic shoes after orthopedic appointment. I think I injured my toes more because my Nike running shoes put too much pressure on toes.
I am looking for flatter shoes. Funny I could not wear them before because of high arch. I am still trying to wear my Merrells.
What have you found in the way of lower heel shoe that you like? I really think the answer might be getting shoe that takes the weight off the toes. Have you ever tried Alegria shoes?
I suppose my high heel collection will become museum pieces as I stare at them longingly in my closet.
I have tried antiemetics before, but not Zofran so I will mention this to the rheumatologist next month. Thanks!
Now I wear my Traveltimes or my Dearfoams (inside only of course). I do have some Easy Spirits with "kitten heels" that I wear to church sometimes.

AND I am a grandma and I so loved my high heels.
