i started taking humira in late december,i have just taken the third dose i was wondering how fast does it start acting or making you feel better, i have not noticed a change, and it makes me sick the next day so my question is when will i feel a difference, and does it make anyone else weak and tired and feel bad the day after taking it.

I was on Humira for two months, and the doctor took me off of it because it wasn't working at all. I wish I'd given it more of a chance, looking back, because it was actually the only RA drug I've tried that didn't give me terrible side effects.

I have been on Humira for five months. I started noticing improvement after three months, but it wasn't constant improvement. Now, I feel much, much better. And, the inflammation markers in my blood are coming down. I don't get a site reaction from Humira, but once in a while, the day after my shot, I will feel a little "weak". That doesn't happen very often, though. I do want you to know that some people respond to a biologic much qucker than I have. Don't give up. I hate the sting from the shot, but I love the way it helps my RA.

I noticed a slight improvement after several weeks on Humira, and I kept slowly but steadily getting better for a couple of months. Things seemed to level off for a while, but I'm happy to say that I've achieved remission with Humira. When I started on Humira I was also taking methotrexate, but I was able to stop the mtx at the beginning of this year (hooray!). I haven't had noticeable side effects from the Humira (other than a handful of injection site reactions), but side effects from the mtx were sometimes pretty bad.
