I do like to do my flower pots, read outside by my fountain. or go watch I survived on the cable lol
and on good days, I go out to barn and ride horses
Also swim, since my knees are bone to bone, swimming is my only exercise.
I'm a geek, so I play a lot of silly computer games.

Tried bridge too but local club not very nice and left. Good way to keep brain active though if you have a willing husband! Other good card games out there too if bridge seems a bit stuffy.
If my husband who is a workaholic would retire I would love to travel with him. Would that appeal to you? A big trip round USA would be very interesting as it has such a variety of landscapes and atmospheres. Could go up into Canada too or if feeling brave down through Mexico and central USA. Doesnt have to cost fortune. (I travel without the husband once a year usually to escape the cold here but also because I love it and know if my knees give out that will be the end of it...)
Lots of things out there - you may be a bit artistic so perhaps could try things like mosaic work, lead lighting etc etc. Volunteering? Never enough volunteers anywhere and helping others/animals very rewarding and something you could do together. Of course we have pets....it's not always just the children who have tied us down!
