I had a steroid injection in my hip a few weeks ago but it dorsnt seem to have worked very well. My dr said if it was joint problem the shot would have worked but I don't understand that because I have had lots of injections in other joints that didn't work and I defiantly had joint probe. Needed knee replacement and toe replacement. So does anyone here know if this is true or have you had a hip joint problem that didn't respond to injection? Thanks

I haven't had one yet but I will be getting one on the 12th, my hopes are very high that it will help with my hip pain. It is getting unbearable and from what I have read for some it helps, for others it does nothing.

I has. A terrible steroid flare after it but it hasn't helped much mayb a little. But I've also been limping a lot and out of balance because of my knee. I hope it dies work for you!

I had one on Wednesday of last week. Still waiting for it to take effect, but they said it could take 1-2 weeks.

I had one in my hip prior to surgery last fall to get by for a couple of months i'd say it helped about 50 percent. I was told it should help some if hip joint related. Are they thinking you are needing a hip replacement? Did they do an Mri or other Imaging for you and what did that show? Sometimes it can be lower back related too. Good luck

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
