Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. My mother fell and dislocated/fractured her ankle. So I dropped everything quickly and went to her. She'll be having surgery...but not until next Friday because of meds. She has to come off her DMARD for Lupus. I'm sure y'all know how that goes.

Anyway, I wanted to share a little bit of goodwill she (we) experienced during this accident. The accident happened at the car dealer...but it was just an accident. She stepped off the curb wrong. The dealership wasn't negligent at all! Complete accident. However, they've called everyday and had a $1000.00 check delivered to her home for out of pocket expenses. The didn't have to do that. Maybe not all businesses are just out for the almighty dollar.

As Bluedogs would say.... I hope everyone is having a pain-free day.

Oh how awful tell her we will be wishing her a quik recovery and I second the motion take care of yourself too that is very kind of the dealership. I have fallen before because of neglect and they did nothing for me wouldn't even help with rapid care bill. Blessings to you and your mom
