Also, I haven't told my company that I have RA...mostly because I didn't feel it necessary to tell them my business. But after reading the American Disability Act, I am thinking I might need to protect myself. I work for a good company though and don't feel foul play would ever happen, but what they don't know isn't fair either. I need my desk to be ergonomic. I am having a lot of inflammation in my neck and shoulders and the position of my desk and computer is not helping.
Long story short...thanks for the post, Caspiana...guess it got me thinking. ((-:
