Now for my big news. Drum roll, please:


I'M DOING IT, gang!!!!  I just booked a flight to New Zealand Jan 9 to Feb 1.  Flying Fiji air with stopovers in LAX and Fiji going and coming so no leg of the flight is very long. Buying compression stocking/sox.


I am very excited & anxious but I'm doing it!!!  I have no hectic schedule when I get there or when I return so I can catch up on missed sleep, hopefully. And I will not push myself to do hiking or such. 



My grandson is very excited as well and looking forward to showing me around.

EXACTLY! The whole trip is 19 hrs one way and 21 the other which is REALLY GOOD by comparison! And 8 hours is the longest leg. I'll try to sleep. I'm pretty good at sleeping. I have earplugs and eye shades. OH - I have all AISLE SEATS!!

    I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain.     I haven't been around in a long time. I am admin in a private group, and I would like to upgrade someone else to that position. I thought I knew how to do that, but the prompt has gone missing. Or is it not allowed to upgrade someone else to admin? I just find "ban and demote" under "Edit." I don't get notifications to DS anymore, but I wil come back in a few days to find out the answer.
