Just got back from the doctor's office with tons of good news and thought I'd share (so newbies don't think the future is always grim).
Joint pain-- zero
swelling- zero
blood sugar-- now normal (SO excited about this)
vitamin D- up to 64 (from a low of 22)
weight down 8 pounds
Liver labs- normal
sed rate- normal
Bone density scan--- low-normal on hip, high on lower spine
The only physical symptoms remaining are sore balls of feet (when I stand for a long time) and the right shoulder still hurts off and on. Moving on with assumption of bursitis in shoulder rather than RA in the shoulder, I have a PT plan starting today for that.
So, my meds are 22.5 mg mtx pills (9 pills per week), 10 mg Lexapro (available in generic starting last week! Yea, save $50 per month), 400 mg Plaquenil, and 50,000 IU vitamin D per week.

Rheumy says I'm "stable". My CBC and Chem panel were normal. I am down 3#.
Only consistent joint pain is in balls of feet, but that it where it first showed up. I am guessing it is also where there is the most damage.
