I just thought I'd share this kind of amusing ritual I have in the morning.
Although I've been doing quite well off low dosages of MTX I do experience flare ups every once in a while.
Upon waking up but not quite all the way up I always flex my fingers & roll my wrists to see if there's any stiffness! LOL!
It's funny now but I did this almost out of paranoia before being diagnosed & getting on the meds which finally removed 98% of my symptoms. The alarm clock would go off & just out of habit I flex my fingers & roll my wrists.
I still do it till this day even though I really don't have major issues.
Just wondering if anyone else has any daily rituals they go through that was carried over from maybe harsh RA times?
PS I also use my wrist watch & wedding ring to see if any of my wrist of finger joints are swelling.

If I am doing good - I totally forget I have RA, except to take whatever med I am on.
Right now I am somewhere in between. I do confess that I sit on-line and read the news, and a few favourite sites in the morning till the prednisone and pain killers start to work. Of course, sometimes, the prednisone takes a very long time to work, if there are a lot of interesting things to read on-line! LOL
