Hi! Hope everyone is having a good day! Well, I wanted to know if anyone knows of any foundations besides Healthwell and Patient Advocate Foundation to get help for the co-pay on the infusion drugs. My Remicade was paid for through Healthwell and they don't have any more funding this year for RA. I talked to Patient Advocate and their sending me information to fill out. They pay for abut 7 months of treatment if I use Remicade, and I get that once a month so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I may hae to switch to another drug in order to treatment for a year! Any advice? Thanks!!!

Remicade has a support system, Remistart, info on their website.
I know I just read an article that listed a lot of different options, let me surf around and see if I can find it.

Yes...Patient Advocate is through Remicade. Thank you so much for looking...don't know why I didn't think of that!!

Thanks, all of this is happening at a scary time for me (starting new meds, I mean), as hubby's contract is finally up for ratification (He works for a Class I railroad) and our benefits/cost of meds is changing.
I'm bookmarking all of these sites!

Why is your infusion schedule every 4 weeks? I don't think I have ever heard of that, I talk with a lot of folks every time I have my treatment and the usual things I hear is some have been moved to every 6 weeks and the doseage increased. My rheumy has increased my dose from 300 to 400 the last six months. I am still every 8 weeks. Is the Remicade working for you?? Just curious. Hugs, Charlie

Charlie,
My Doctor scheduled me for every 4 weeks because I'm still having major flares. The Remicade was only working for about 2 weeks.
