Well,I had no immediate side effects...To those of you that have had this drug how did you feel afterwords and if you did have any difficulty how long before it started....The big ? if the drug works when you one expect to see some changes.

peppyrest, I start actemera after the 1st of the year, were you on any other biologic before? Hope you do well. Keep us posted.

I have been on Actemra for a year now. I have no side effects and no pain. I now take no other meds only Actemra. M;y crp has dropped from 264 to .4 I am a happy camper. It took maybe 3 months to fully take affect.

I'm on my 5th infusion. No side effects so far. I can't really say it's helping much either, I liked Enbrel much better but my rheumy says my numbers are better on the actemra.

Hi there..I take Actemra by infusion every 4 weeks. I can tell a difference. .especially around week 3..my joints start getting tender again. My only side effect is a headache after the infusion but it goes away by the next day.

I forgot to add that along with the Actemra infusion I get tylenol and benadryl and solumedrol. This is so I have no headache or itching from the infusion.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
