My shoulder pyhsio has stalled due to issues with the tendons in my hands. Gripping during exercises is bad for me apparently. I'm seeing a hand therapist to get that sorted out so I can go back to doing shoulder exercises. She'd made me a splint to try on the really bad finger.
My shoulders have been keeping me up a night for close to two months now - not always both but a least one or the other. Physio said it was weakend rotator cuff muscles allowing the shoulder to slip out of place a bit pinching the tendon causing inflamation (tendonitis). I had been taking Methoxacet (tylenol, muscle relaxant, 1/8 of codiene) - OTC. But I didn't really need the other stuff in it - just the pain killer.
I finally got up the nerve to ask my GP for Tramadol and he gave me a bunch of samples to try. 50 mg - I'm surprised they are not that strong - didn't make me groggy like codiene does. But strong enough to help me get to sleep at night. I'm happy I finally just came out and asked for it.

I just want to sleep at night. Mostly it is my whiplash injury, but one never knows if RA will strike either. Hope you get the hand issues figured out.
