Oh yes, 80 for me too!! I am looking forward to it. I grew up in Indiana and never liked the cold. I always fought with my mom about where my thermostat was set in my room. I love living in the South now. We had snow last week, and while that was fun because I haven't seen snow in 5 years, I really don't like cold at all.

6 weeks is only March 19th - more like 10 weeks before it becomes bearable around here (50's).........

you pick up the ice melt, the cat litter, the sand, the shovels, the ice picks, the snowblowers, the snowbrooms, the scrapers, the barrels, around April 10th.

no matter what March brings in the way of sun it will dump some snow irrespective to keep you in your place :). the oil or gas or electric or propoane or wood heat stays on until some time the end of May middle of June.

So yes, there will definitely be heat and humidity, in July or August in about 5 months. I open the pool in June but it's not really cooking until about July. my swim season is like 5 days. kidding.

May we please have some of the snow down here? New Mexico, Arizona, and California are looking at yet another year of extreme drought.

I hate the cold, wet, and grey- it makes me feel awful- but another summer of forest fire is the worst option. Will you northeasterners please tell the storms to turn around and head the other way?

Snow flurries here in NE Texas....feeling sorry for the people in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, but glad we didn't get that!

We will be cool here thru April...but April is when I take my pool cover off and begin getting ready for swim season!!! Looking forward to my grandbabies being waterbabies!!

Well, we here in PA just got another 6 inches of snow and ice yesterday. Made driving to work interesting,, NOT. Anyway, I appreciate your warm and positive thoughts. Trying to keep the same frame of mind myself. I know that in a few months we will all be complaining of the heat. We should put a few snowballs in the freezer for then. LOL.

I'm not expecting decent weather here until end of March, mid April. That still seems like a long time away. It'll probably be end of May before we turn the furnace off. I'm so ready for summer and sun and warmth.

Someone will probably throw a snowball at me but I have enjoyed this winter. The cold and shoveling was not fun but it was the most beautiful winter that I can remember.

I have boomerang weather here in Florida (North Florida). It was in the upper 20's two weeks ago then over this past weekend it hit 80 and now is back into the 40's and my joints are screaming at me. The humidity was so awful my floors were wet with the mist in the air and I had to turn my AC on yesterday so I wouldn't fall on the humidity wet floors. I guess some would trade for that too.

Okay Nipper a snowball is coming your way (just kidding), but this has been one of the toughest winters I have seen in a long long time. I must say I am with the majority. I do not like the snow. It is pretty for a day while it is falling if you are indoors and not driving in it, but in the city after a day it is so dirty and a hot mess. I cannot wait for April or even March as long as it warms up a bit.

I spent a winter in Williamsport - am pretty sure I didn't care for it - it was in the mid 90's or so when the governor closed all roads in the state to try and keep the accidents down - record snow and cold - only other place I have been that was colder was Ogden, Utah - golly, it was cold

This winter has been terrible! Way too much snow. I can't wait for spring but unfortunately it is a still a few months away. The cold seems to bother me more since my diagnosis. I could handle the cold though if it came without the snow. The snow just makes getting to work so much more difficult.
