I think it all depends really... When the body is being repaired, it can also break things down, causing pain and inflammation.
In our case however, it's almost always doing more damage than it was before. If you are taking homeopathic meds, then it might be breaking things down before it builds things up, so to speak.
Prednisone of course causes damage to your bones, so even if you're not flaring, if you're on prednisone, then you are doing damage.
I have a book, "the inflammation free diet plan" and she claims that people's inflammation markers should be much lower than suggested. From her, it sounds like, if you're flaring or in remission, unless your ESR is incredibly, incredibly low, then damage is occurring.
but what do I know? lol..... it's all a mystery to me!
