When you guys have a doctors appoinment with your rhemy do they make you fast? I am not allowed any food after midnight and I am not allowed any pain pills after midnight either. I am allowed to have all the water I want but nothing else. I was just wondering for your blood work if they make you do that as well. I don't really mind the no food part but no pain pills kinda sucks It makes it to where i can barely walk. I can barely walk with them but its worse without them anyway I am starting to ramble I will go now.

No to the fasting, am able to take pain pills before the blood tests and doctor's appointments.
I guess it depends on the blood tests your Rheumy is doing - I know my husband has to fast before his regular blood tests but that is mainly for diabetes and he goes up and has them before breakfast so it works out OK.
I'd ask your Rheumy why you have to fast etc. I'm sure he'd have his reasons. I'm just glad I don't have to do the same.
