No to the fasting, am able to take pain pills before the blood tests and doctor's appointments.
I guess it depends on the blood tests your Rheumy is doing - I know my husband has to fast before his regular blood tests but that is mainly for diabetes and he goes up and has them before breakfast so it works out OK.
I'd ask your Rheumy why you have to fast etc. I'm sure he'd have his reasons. I'm just glad I don't have to do the same.
