do your joints buzz?

Please tell me if this is what you experience. Especially when resting, my smaller joints especially my hands, will feel like they are buzzing or vibrating. Like they were running a jackhammer all day. I can't honestly say it's painful and they are not visibly swollen. Am I crazy?

What you experience may not be what I experience! But that does not invalidate what you are feeling.

However, other things besides RA might cause it, so you would be wise to tell both your rheumatologist and your family doc.

Right now, my joints are experiencing pain, and more pain. But that is just me!

You are the first person to ever bring this up here....for as long as I've been here. I have that too!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one can tell me why but I can feel in big and small joints when lying still. I feel like a human vibrator!

Oh well....now I'm not so special but glad to be special along with you!

Yes... I did bring this up before on here ..... at the time I think it was one of my knees that did it... it is strange feeling. I thought it felt as if I had my cell phone on my knee. It does come and go...There were others here that had the same feeling too. I don't know the reason but at least we are not crazy nor alone with this. I think someone suggested that it might be neuropathy.

When I'm experiencing a bad flare mine do as well....just before that joint blows up and tries to lock. My very uneducated guess is that the calcium being deposited in the extra thick synovial lining is causing the first tension in the nerves. Nothing like the experience of feelings your joints separating in slow motion. Hopes yours doesn't do that.

This happens to me- my wrists too. Along with this feeling, they are hot. I know some people have talked about wearing compression gloves. I may be getting a pair!
