No offense to anyone named Debbie.lol I've never been awfully pessimistic but lately I've been going through so much I find myself feeling like if I don't even like me how can others love me. I can't seem to pick up my boot straps. I go Friday back to the surgeon after having a scope done it has been a very hard week going to therapy. Both knees are really shot so I don't have a good one to work with. I'm disappointed that it still hurts so much but my family keepd telling me it's only been a little more than a week I guess I'm impatient. Well I will let y'all know what the surgeon says. Thanks for listening

I do hear what you are saying, we all have taken our turns, "this too shall pass". I am sorry to hear you are in pain, I personally am having a "whooped" night. I have been opening boxes at the house all day. We should be back by next Fri........yeah. I have missed my home. And thank God for steroids, I am in high gear for the week ahead. Feel better missy. hang in there Kim. maybe it is taking a little longer to heel because of the RA and maybe OA in the knees as well. I hope you have a good pain med to cover you. Take care of yourself. You will be okay.

Man, that stinks. I'm sorry you're still having a lot of pain from the surgery.

Don't worry too much about what others think. You just had surgery. You deserve a break!

oh you put up with them too also, don't you? :). you know the ones that don't do their school work and the ones that break the washing machine and ask for money and forget grandma's birthday and get moody and cranky and all that? :) you're a unit. you are stuck with each other.

tell the therapist to back off a little or you are going to start singing arias right there in the treatment room.

I agree with Ros! I started thinking that recently, how can my partner even stand to be around me, I am so needy and whiny and blah blah blah. But the bottom line is that there have been so many times in my life when I have thought, I don't even like myself, how could anyone love me. And my family has always come around to love me anyways, so why is this time any different? That's what family is for, for me. To love me when I think I'm unlovable. You are obviously a person who is worthy of a lot of love, whether you believe it right now or not. Hang in there.

And I agree Elihia. I've started writing my whining down in a journal instead of vocalizing it. Instead I focus on vocalizing what I CAN do. Makes life more positive.

Thanks so much everyone none of us are in this all alone we have each other and the people who do love us. I am blessed on spite of the obstacles I have faced this year and do many have a worse go of it than me. Praying for us all.
