i have the two kids shipped back to college. trying to make sense of a work leave and finances and deal with these pain meds that are the bridge to Monday. Just got discharged from the hosptial this week after more tests on the spinal cord and stuff.
yep, try not to look down when driving and it's best not to type your schedule while driving also in moving traffic, a non moving apparatus for sitting at works well for reading and typing the last I heard......
through my left toe Jen, or my right nostril. :) i have been in non stop pain the past 7 days that has put the RA pain to shame. this has been a new phase in my exciting life. i trust the surgeon and i have no options right now. your situation sounded horrendous and all encompassing and I am certain that mine must seem like a walk in the park, to you. to me it's my deal to deal with.
oh, the rheumatologist called me today after speaking to the neurosurgeon and told me that it would be 8 weeks post this surgery this Monday with no RA meds (Orencia).
i was not invited into the dialogue.

ORIGINAL THREAD
Hily: you owe it to yourself to seek, try, enjoy and abdicate any treatment you so wish.
the purpose of this group is to offer support and cross sharing. it is important that no one person do what I call "first person shout down" that is when the first person sharing becomes so loud of forceful that no others are allowed to have a voice or feel badgered or shamed into silence. if you see a thread go mute after a final poster, go back and look did the last poster share so forecefully and/or dismissively that there was literally no where to go? I call that first person shout down overshare :). when threads finish healthfully, it is usually because all had a chance to cross share and the last post will indicate the same as the first that all are learning from each other.
keep your voice have your voice. join as many groups as you need or want to support your journey. validate other people's choices and they will validate yours.
I wish it was Monday, already. :)
