Collar bone?

Do any of you have RA in your collar bone. Like the points where it comes together just under the neck.

Yes one side of my collar bones joints has inflammation around it. At first my doctor thought it was a goiter from my thyroid. It doesn't hurt at all just looks like a bump.

I was MRId' on both shoulders and then with the contrast, Result? Inflamation in the joint and in the bone marrow (pressure from inflamation in ther bone) The God awful (I cried 3 days with pain IV)
pain was lessened when hi dose steroids started working, however the errosion in the clavicle called for a revision where an edge of the joint was cut out. 8 months later I am almost pain free.

If yours is swollen the MRI contrast shows it very well and then methylprednison (Medrol) is one steroid that works great-if youve got a great doc he/she will try this.

Yes, I have felt pain there on and off. I also have cricoarytenoid joint involvement (in my throat) which is another joint RA hits. That is more annoying than painful, as I can feel it move and click when I swallow.
