pain was lessened when hi dose steroids started working, however the errosion in the clavicle called for a revision where an edge of the joint was cut out. 8 months later I am almost pain free.
If yours is swollen the MRI contrast shows it very well and then methylprednison (Medrol) is one steroid that works great-if youve got a great doc he/she will try this.
