I read about one theory that speculates with auto-immune diseases that the platelets in our blood become sticky and stick to the walls of our veins/arteries, slowing the blood flow down and making us feel cold. The opposite happens with a hot-flash.
I don't really know, but I wonder if our natural cortisal levels have some impact on this, and I have not found how to fix it apart from to rug up like the "Marshmallow Man" when I'm out in a cool breeze.

Suffernomore, I wish you wouldn't try to diagnose people's illnesses. You're not qualified, and you may actually do harm. I don't have a problem with anyone stating their opinions and/or experiences, but what you said in your comment is uncalled ffor and out of place.
I had regular colon cleanses, years ago, and I thought they were doing me good. I can say for certain that it would have relieved constipation, if I had any, but I really can't say that it did any other good. I wouldn't do it today, because I've read enough skeptical articles. If you think about it, it's pretty easy to understand that colon cleansing is superfluous. Our bodies are pretty well designed to eliminate wastes already. And, our bodies are pretty well designed to detoxify via the liver.
If someone wants to do colon cleanising, that's their choice, and I wouldn't speak against it. However, I'd certainly be hesitant to "prescribe" it, by telling someone they need to do it.
