I won't see new rheumy until end of May. It has been a week and I can barely walk..feet knees. I deal with the hand pain but trying to walk dog and get to work are so hard. I'm on mtx.. 5 pills 1 time a week and frolic acid, Vicodin in a.m. To help move but not really helping. I just signed a lease for 3 more years for office space..Have to keep working. What has helped other in this boat? I'm scared.
Has menthol, arnica, ilex, bunch of botanitcals. I was at the point of not enough pain/swelling to go a course of prednisone, but bothersome nonetheless.
Worth a shot!
Prednisone is a cover up and it has multiple side effects. Please use it with care. It does not stop the progression of the disease, only makes you think you feel better, so you do things you should not do, like walking and working.
Hope you can get on a biologic soon. Much safer than prednisone, for sure.
