At 78.1, lab corp range was 10.0-75.0
Her initial thought was sarcoidosis. So I was sent for an xray which was clear.
After symptoms of Ra increased, it was diagnosed RA.
I had to look up the labs by the way, no I didn't remember off the top of my head ;)
Come to think of it, I googled and googled. Why the crap do I have high vit d levels you know? I stay out of the sun. I WAS on high vitamin D in 2010 during a pregnancy my levels plummeted. Maybe from that? Dr Google offered no answers
Who knows!
I suppose if it reduces the chance of cancer, I'm one step ahead of the game with a biologic. It's somewhat reassuring. I should ask her to retest my next visit. Thx for mentioning it!
i think the premise is that we all have brains and have given a thought or two or three, maybe even four to our own personal eating habits by reviewing them with perhaps cursorily with a medical doctor and maybe more in depth with a licensed registered dietitian, often covered under health plans, if need be. they study about 5 years and have a RD license.

I do have a minor in livestock nutrition and degrees in bio and Chem. So I've decided that I'm going to Vanderbilt's student bookstore and see what texts their med RDs students are required to buy. Then I'll buy them off Amazon. Have enough background to understand them. Heck, if I can't find an RD that wants my business I'll become my own :)
Lion, if you are a big fan of milk and mushrooms (legal kind) then you are consuming a lot of Vitamin D. Shrooms are a great natural source for it.
Cassie, yeah I loved prednisone when I needed it. But hated the 50 lbs it added to my waistline. Took a while to lose it. My favorite painkiller/anti-inflammatory is now enteric coated aspirin.
No, do not eat mushrooms, dislike.
I do not drink milk, use nondairy creamer in coffee. It had casein, but that's it.
I occasionally eat cheese, not every day.
No yogurts.
I'm at a loss.
