Personally, I do not believe that chiropractors are helpful in the least. I have been to a chiropractor twice and didn't get anything at all out of it. In fact, I have wondered how in the world they could stay in business.
My wife, on the other hand, injured her neck in a car accident about five years ago and swears that her chiropractor was very helpful to her.
I am of the opinion that I would rather see a medical doctor for medical issues.
I guess it is really a personal choice.

RA Sally, the pain in neck just started but back pain is getting worse. Not debilitating just bothersome and hurts when I lay on back. I do get headaches from time to time. Figured it was the mtx. Thanks for the link. I will definitely have it looked at if pain does not improve.
Anyway, I get massages for back pain. I think a lot of my back pain is caused by limping, due to pain and swelling in my feet. Massages help a lot. I don't think I would be able to continue working without them.
stick your neck in the can first (MRI) before you let anyone do anything to your beautiful neck.
