My Psoriasis and PA have gotten alot worse over the last few months. Went to the dermatologist yesterday and instantly looking at me suggested injections cause cream isnt going to help me much anymore.

Im desperate at this point so im fine with injections. Going for my. Tb test today and blood work tomorrow.

Now the biggest barrier is if insurance is going to cover it. The doc assured me they will and never had a problem before but good things dont happen to me so im expecting for it not to be covered.

But im/hopeful since im/a prime candidate and in bad shape right now.

This is the only potential good news ive gotten in a long long long time, so i hope it works out for me.

So people that have used or using enbrel, did it help with your arthritis?

I was just thinking about you... did you get your approval? I hope it has worked out for you.
I have only been on the enberel for 3 weeks and have not noticed any significant difference at this point, but doc said up to 3 months. If it doesn't work by then, it won't.
The only issue that I have had is at the injection site.
First shot left leg, ok
Second shot right leg, swelled up 4 day later.
Then first injection shot swelled, 12 days after shot.???
Third shot left leg, still red, but minimal swelling and the first 2 spots finally went down.
Never a dull moment with this stuff.

I have been on enbrel for 3 years and it put me into remission. About a month ago i started pain again in both of my knees , really behind my knees, and to top it off my insurance stopped paying for it so not sure what to do now. Instead of enbrel being continued under my major medical plan they decided to take it out of my drug plan which doesnt have enough money in it. I see my rheumy tomorrow.

Hi, just keep taking Enbrel for few days. If it is not helping out of aches then look for other.

Hi Guna, i am hoping for good things to happen to you. I have been on Enbrel and the most difficult part for me was to inject myself which I got over. If it is something to help you feel better, one can get over the obstacles. Enbrel worked well for me for a while then I had to move on to another biologic. Sending you good wishes that it will be covered by the insurance and work well for you and you will be feeling better soon.
