hi all - i read an article today about someone beginning a trip up mount everest in a few weeks in the hope of being the first RA sufferer to summit. wow...kudos to him, and good luck!
i noticed something in the article that said the only medication the climber uses is nyloxin. this needs to be taken w a grain of salt as nyloxin's manufacturer did the press release for the climber. at any rate, nyloxin (which is OTC) and its prescription-only twin cobroxin both are made w cobra venom and appear to be topical or inhaled. after a few tries at googling i can't get much information that hasn't been manipulated by the manufacturer.
has anyone ever tried these products? i'm really interested bc i've read of folks going into remission from RA, asthma and OA due to naturally-occurring snake and/or bee bites and the theory of applying or inhaling venom makes some sense. TIA for your help!

anywho, is that the correct spelling of the substance? I'll try to google it too...sounds interesting, but I think I'd be afraid to try it!!
