the syringe does not have a hydraulic inside it and the needle is smaller and you control the push. For myself, only, every person is different, I had both the click darth vader sure click thing pen and the syringe. I liked the syringe. needles don't bother me. I don't need a pen to hide the needle for me and I don't find it difficult to insert a needle that hurts less and push the medicine in s l o w l y.
I can see the benefit of the sure click stuff for some folks. It's just good to know you have an option. for those that prefer the pen power to you. if you are on this stuff for decades though and the pen is bothering you - it might hurt less - to try the syringe for a 12 week run and then go back to the pen if you hate the syringe. what the heck. options.
Humira was the one that hurt the most out of all the crap I have stuck in. like with humira I never passed on icing. i liked your post katie. i just set a piece of chocolate beyond reach of the needle set up area.
my enbrel feels like water and I don't care about syringes. the needle seems insignificantly small.
