The bones in my ankles feel like slithers. When I first stand I don't dare take a step immediately. With every step it feels like my ankles are going to snap in to. There are places on my ankles and feet that feel bruised to the touch,and even when you don't touch, and sometimes ( more frequently today ) it feels like the bruise is sharp and penetrates all the way to the bones. Even with them elevated I get the sharp penetrating to the bone feeling, and I don't dare let my 2 feet touch. I have knots that I assume are nodules on my ankles and tops of feet. Do I stay off my feet and ankles or suffer thru the pain and walk?
Also, there is one place inside my knees and on the inside of my elbows that is painfully tender to the touch. Sometimes they feel as if they had been touched.
Last but not least I was sitting here watching tv and I got a sharp burning pain in my back. It eased off and then I got a sharp burning in my left shoulder ball-joint. It eased and within 5 minutes I had the exact same in the same place on my right shoulder. All 3 places are sensitive right now.
Just one more thing and I will end ! I hear some of you discuss trips to ER. What reason would you go and how did it help you? Here lately I have been tempted to go.

So sorry Terri u r in pain this disease sucks point blank!
One example is chest pain
I, personaly, would go to the er if the pains became constant, especially if I began to experience numbness and or tingling in extremities, or persistant sharp pain with head movement or begin to experience sharp pain with breathing or in heart area, or increase in pain that causes you to worry or pain that is unbearable. Or, if I felt in any way that it needed treatment now Sometimes people go to the er because they are afraid, or can't take it any longer. Hope this helps!
