One example is chest pain
I, personaly, would go to the er if the pains became constant, especially if I began to experience numbness and or tingling in extremities, or persistant sharp pain with head movement or begin to experience sharp pain with breathing or in heart area, or increase in pain that causes you to worry or pain that is unbearable. Or, if I felt in any way that it needed treatment now Sometimes people go to the er because they are afraid, or can't take it any longer. Hope this helps!
