I'm trying to get new insurance for my family through the new health insurance exchange. I have never seen such a useless, ill-conceived, slow, aggravating website in all my life. Designed by kale-eaters, no doubt.
I'm looking at drug formularies, trying to see if biologics at all, and which ones specifically, are covered. They are not under biologics, anti-rheumatics, DMARDS, rheumatologic agents, or anything else I could think of. Any ideas?

I saw this link on another site this morning, and had seen similar information in the NY Times previously. All the drug company benefits should still be available to those on the new plans, regardless of whether or not you are receiving a subsidy. It should be just as easy to get biologics for a small price as it has been.
51%, my question is mostly directed to you, because you apparently have an infusion drug, because of the Medicare B coverage. Do you also have supplemental insurance to cover the 20% gap? I'm not at the point where it's a concern, but I'm getting Rituxan infusions at $80K/year, and there's no way I can afford 20%. I've heard some people complaining about ACA affects on their Medicare supplemental plans, and wonder how widespread that is.

I will have to appeal with my son on his behalf..we will also do it if hubby loses his, he is a letter carrier with arthritis in his feet! He really needs it...what a mess
