i was hospitalized a few years back with it ..it was horrible ..and i am a older person not a kid , it took me along time to have any amount of energy then it just flowed into RA ..and i have a sneaky feeling lupus is traling this ..good luck , id get it checked out ..
i had horrible open sores in the back of my throat and on tonsils and also ear issues ..and nooooooo energy to evern get up to eat ...sooooo i hope this helps you ..only a thought .. goodnight

I had to stop the mtx/Humira and go on 3 rounds of strong antibiotics..my lymph nodes are still swollen and don't know when I can start the meds again.
My pharmacist said it takes 3-4 days for the mtx to get out of the system and about 10days for the Humira.
I hope you feel better...it sucks when you can't chew or swallow because of pain..and ear pain is horrible too! This wacky disease causes the strangest things doesn't it??
