Yesterday we had a holiday, so we went on a day trip. My hubby kepy asking me if I was up to it and I said yes I feel good. Admittedly I haven't been out alot since I got RA which was last Dec. We walked ALOT. This morning I couldn't move. I was in such pain. Not just my toes and the soles of my feet but my arms, hands fingers and chest. I had to take a day off of work and just sleep. After the sleep I felt alot better. My question is will this be forever? How am I ever going to do all the things I have dreamt of doing if I am in so much pain after just a day out? Will it get better?
My hands and back are where I feel my RA the worst and what do I do? Sit at a computer 40 hours a week and then run an online business on the side. Some days are rough and I have to push myself to get everything done. Others are much easier and I get to kick back a little. My family knows my moods and when I am pushing, they support me. When I am hurting, they support me.
I believe that being positive like you are, makes life so much better. I still try to be active, within my limits.
And to the gal that shopped 10 hours with her future DIL, you are my hero!! You go girl!
For me- still work full time plus. I know that is not the usual but I'm grateful I can still do it.
Just got the highest sanctions order ever in California - $833,025.72 to my client - we are all still celebrating. We can do it. I just had foot surgery and dictated my brief from my house. I will not let this crappy disease take over my life!
