I wanted to break away from all our aches and pains a few moments and just take the time to say 'Thank You' for all your posts and wealth of information on the site. I was telling my doctor about the site and he said, he liked it that I was interacting with others with RA. He thought it was good to get insight into the effects others have with certain meds.

I may not comment on every single post but be assured I have read most of them on the front page and always the latest post that appear as new. I find such a diversity of people on here, we have young and older (noticed I didn't say old....lol) folks here. All striving for one thing and that's to get through another day of less pain or none at all, just to function as we did before we were told we have RA. I know somedays, I sit and cry and in a sarcastic way, thank my dad for leaving me with disease. I often think, gee dad, you could have left me something better than this. ;) He suffered tremendously with RA back in the 70's when there was little if anything they could do for him.

I have a double whammy because I also have COPD which takes it toll on your body and your immune system but I've learned to deal with it and I'll do the same with RA....I know I'll have some good days but I've come to expect the bad as well. I take the hand that was dealt me and do the best I can with it.

Anyway, just felt like saying 'thanks' to everyone and tell you how glad I am that I found this site. It comforts me more than you'll ever know that I know I'm not alone with this battle and that I can always reach out on this board and they'll be someone here to have a kind word and offer encouragement.
