I'm sitting here writing this but not exactly knowing what to say. So please forgive my rambling. But I really need some prayers and positive thoughts for my family...for me.
On Sunday December 1st, my niece was murdered, very very violently by her estranged husband. This murdered occurred in front of her three beautiful children. The children are 9, 4 and 2. The 4 yo was then taken by her father. I'm sure several of you received the Amber Alert for Texas...that was for my Kylie Jade, my great niece. Thankfully she's back with her bubba and sissy - as she calls them.
My body is on full roller coaster of ups, downs, twists and turns. But my focus in on the babies.
Please keep these little ones in your thoughts and prayers for me. The things they saw will forever haunt them. And it rips my heart out every time the 2 yo states "daddy killed mommy ninja sword"

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It's going to be a long road for the little ones but they have lots and lots of family to help them.
I'm so very sorry this happened, what a nightmare. I am so glad he didn't hurt the children, it will take time to heal, but healing will happen. Your family will be in my heart and prayers.

I have no doubt of a higher power, none what so ever.
As I believe unity & love wrapped around those poor babies will be their saving grace.
The only thing left to say is I'm beyond sorry for your lose & all the suffering.

Women are so vulnerable and there are some men out there (a few, but dangerous) who operate in this dramatic violent way because they arent mature enough in themselves to deal with their issues. I would be embarrassed to quote to you the daily stats here in NZ although of course relatively few as bad as your instance.
I hope you can feel our strength behind you which you can then pass on to your family.
That is a heart wrenching issue. I'm so terribly sorry for you and yours. Especially the children.
Children are innocent and are certainly not supposed to be exposed to violence; especially to such a high degree.
Nobody should have to live with something as awful and abhorrent as this in their lives.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
