Thanks all! It's a bit better today. I'm in MN, so last week temps were in the 50s and today it was snowing and 10 below zero! No wonder I felt so bad last few days! Thank you all for the wishes! The weather this year has been murder for us all, here's hoping it will settle down soon!

Whine away ! MN, no wonder ! yikes. I guess I should stop whining about being cold in Southern California. (it does get cold at night, for "us" anyway)

Yes, I am in MN also. Ouch!! I did have to go out this morning and that kind of cold HURTS!! My hands and feet have been bad all week. Fatigue has been huge! All I feel like doing is nap.... Makes sleeping at night difficult.

well, today it is (so far) just the knees again, and that I can handle! the overall body this was a bit much, lol. Hope you are all surviving through this weather! Thank you all for the wishes and support; it did make a difference.

Hear you...some days are so bad just don't know what to do and feel like no one knows what you are going though, I call mine cranky days, hope you feel better, are you on pain meds? Question, how do I get my "venting, cranky" days posted, they just go to my journal and not posted to this site for some reason, am I missing a link? Thanks.

I take 440mg Aleve in morn and 220mg just before bed, then during the day (at least 6hr after morn aleve) I take 400mg ibuprofen as needed. That seems to get rid of the intense pain but not the aches or fatigue. Going to see the rhuem for the 1st time on 2/16 and we'll see what he says for meds.

I don't know how to publish the journal stuff, I just start new posts when I need some support. :)

My suggestion to anyone with this disease. Keep a journal. I started mine in a composition notebook so I can take it with me to rheumy. It helps so much to write down pains/aches, what time of day, how long they last and medication taken. I still check back on my first recordings 2-1/2 years ago to compare my symptoms and medications.

I have now started my second journal book. It really helps. You think you will not forget, but you do. Don't forget to write down if you ache during bad weather and when you feel good.

Hi All...it still surprises me even after RA for a while how much of my morning pain is associated with the weather!
Today in NY we had a snow storm...I hurt so badly this morning I wanted to cry! Luckily it's Saturday and I could turn over and go back to sleep!

Just try to remember that tomorrow is a new day and hopefully will be better! :-)
