Hi everyone. I was so upset leaving this board but I didn't know what else to since someone hacked into my account. What a mess, and on top of that....feeling horrible. Well, to catch up I'm still in school. I had to drop my last class because I have not been doing very well. I start up again in 2 weeks. I've been on and off Orencia (it didn't work for me). I just started Simponi. I really hope this works. I had to go get a steroid, cortisone injection a few days ago and it's calmed the RA down some but I'm still in pain. Well, I can't wait to hear how everyone has been and I hope that you are all well!

Glad you are back!! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, it's a terrible disease that's for sure. I hope something starts working for you soon.

Good to see you back. I do hope Simponi will work for you. I'm still on the meds roller-coaster - no joy at all - so I know how that makes you feel.

Thanks! I hope this medication works too. I've had to start taking pain medication. It's now affecting the bottoms of my feet pretty bad. I really have a lot of love for God though and He has really helped me to keep my mind focused on what wonderful things in life He has given me. This focus definately helps me. Thanks for the encouragement!

Wow, so glad you have returned but so sorry that you are not doing well. Let us know how you do on Simponi. You are right to keep the focus on God and all His Gifts.

Ladies you are truly amazing! Thanks again for all of the support. I'm really going to need it because this RA is kicking my butt right now. Thre is only one more drug I could take that I haven't tried and that's Rituxan. I am so scared of that drug because of that severe side effect and knowing my body I would be the one to get it. I may ask to start back up on MTX too and my hair would come out. I have thin hair already. I had a wig before but it was cheap and ugly! Synthetic and poorly made. Guess I need to start saving for a human hair wig. Ain't life grand! No...really I thank God that I can still walk around, see and, even though some don't appreciate it, TALK!! Blessings!

So glad you and your positive attitude are back. I tried Simponi once and it worked for the RA but caused me to have a racing heartbeat for several nights. So I could not take it.

It did seem to really help with RA aches. Hoping the best for you and glad to see you're back.
