Thank you for the added information about the grapefruit. I didn't see any of my drugs--or any RA drugs--listed. And I do appreciate the "15 things not to say." It was well presented and worth sharing.

I have heard that grapefruit can cancel out your meds.

I too posted it on my facebook LOL. I wish they said something about shaking hands LOL

Thanks for this post!!! I am so new to all of this but already have heard most of everything on this list and it has already frustrated me!! I am sure it will get worse with time!! Am def thinking about making my family and friends read this!

all - it's been brought to my attention that the "15 things" article appears to have been plagiarized from a very similar one previously written by kelly young on her blog, RAWarrior.com. i'm posting links to her blog entry about the apparent plagiarizing and her original article. my apologies to kelly for misplacing the credit due her for the article.

Thank you for posting that it was Kelly Young who came up with 20 things not to say to RA patients. Yes, if you check out her rawarrior.com site, it will show side by side how healthcom plagiarized her article! Despicable if you ask me.

I have fired off a note on the healthcom site about it as well as multiple other followers of Kelly's. Kelly works long hard hours to fight for our disease - she does not deserve this! She is a TRUE advocate for people with RA!!
