At the risk of jinxing myself, I wanted to share with you that this week, just gone by, has been the best I have felt since September, 2009, two years ago. The RA "beast" decided to hit me full-on in early October, 2009 between lunch and dinner.
My RA is not under control, I am on the meds
rollercoaster still searching for that elusive
magic meds combo.
However, I am enjoying this respite while it continues.

May this be the start of a new beginning for you. I have learned to not question the good days, just make sure you enjoy them to the fullest! Who knows maybe that beast is losing its fire...let's hope so.

That's awesome! I'm happy for you. Don't you hate how you always feel like you're jinxing yourself by saying "I feel better." ? I do that too. Wish we could just say "I feel good!" and let that be the end of it. Anyway, enjoy!

Totally understand how you are feeling about it lasting, but so glad you are having some good days. It becomes a necessity so you can remember you are not crazy and that it isn't normal to feel the way RA makes you feel. Chronic illnesses are so complicated in ways I never knew. They make you accept a new normal and so when you finally feel the way you should it is like having an epiphany of sorts. Oh this is how it feels to not hurt and not feel like crap, I remember this now. LOL! So glad it is getting better and here is a prayer for many more days like this. Hugs, E.

Thank you so much, all my DS friends. The very strange thing is that this has only happened since I began taking new meds for something completely unconnected with RA.
I see my Rheumy tomorrow and get his views. The mind fog seems to have lifted which makes functioning so much easier.
