"Types" of abusers?

Can you think of some "types" of abuser? By which I'm asking for simple, distinct labels, not necessarily narrative descriptions of traits. Here are a few that I have so far:

The Energy Sponge
The Servant-Seeker
The "Not-Yet" Man (emotionally unavailable)
Mr. Always Right
The Violent Abuser
The Predator/"Therapy Wolf"
"Prince Horny"
The Borderline Personality Abuser

Anything. From the trivial thing like choosing what station to play on the radio (which is not trivial to him...nothing is) to what to eat for dinner to sexual acts you'd rather not do to criminal activity you don't want to be involved in. Somehow he always makes your choice seem ridiculous, ignorant, stupid, selfish, mean...just plain WRONG, and not the choice you would really make if you were a better, smarter, more loving person.

I grew up living with this guy.

Funny thing...I recognized his pattern in his relationships with girlfriends who fell under his spell and overlooked the most outrageous behavior, but it took me a lifetime to realize he was my abuser as well.

Is the Boy Next Door, manipulating SOB, beat the crap out of you if you don't do what he ask...included in any of these?? It is what I was thinking when I was reading. You know the all american football player, that everyone likes and has the whole world thinking he is a great guy, but beats his girlfriend when no one is looking...because she said or did something he did not like??? ( I guess I had a teenage flashback)

Autumn Fawn - Mr Jock-Who-Cant-Stop (so he says)? a.k.a. Mr. All-American A-hole? (I don't think Matt can use A-hole but that guy sounds like one.) Or maybe we could call him Mr Smile-When-They're-Looking?

I'd really like a good catchy name that could be used in polite company. Over here in Israel we convicted a recent former President (Katzav ) for being such a dude. This kind of person is double bad in my book because they know they can get away with it just because of the way people see them.

Wow. I'm reading this and realizing how many of these guys I have been with. It's kind of depressing. Furthermore, and this is hard to say, but I know that I have at times exhibited some of these behaviors myself.

Does that make me an abuser? I don't think I am. But sometimes, I might be.... And if I am not, then what am I? That I would constantly gravitate to these types of men, my ENTIRE life?

This feels very very sad.
