Just made my first food-buying trip. Got cases of Coke, diet Coke, Diet Dr Pepper, Mtn Dew, TONS of bottled water. Stuff for s'mores. Stuff for hot dogs (Hebrew National brand - the premium kind). Stuff for Indian Tacos. Plates and cups. By the way, how many coffee drinkers do we have? Cream and sugar? Splenda?
Working out travel with James to build the sweat lodge; we need to find a grove of young willows somewhere for us to use.
My 8-y.o., River, is getting excited to see Bill on Saturday night. He's jealous that we're having a sweat in the morning without him! (He LOVES to go to sweats!). There is a 30% chance of rain on Saturday, but we're doing the sweat whether rain or shine. The campground manager is trying to get things mowed for us.
Bill Miller is shipping in some CDs and his signed art prints, so they'll be available for sale.

Also, I'm conflicted about Sunday's lunch. I had planned pasta (i.e., spaghetti), but we're also having lasagna for Friday's supper. That's okay with me, but it's also a lot of extra Italian, plus cleanup. We can stick with spaghetti, or I'll taker last-minute suggestions for SIMPLE lunch ideas. Or we can just eat our leftovers, and then invade town after packing and cleaning up, for lunch.
Nobody indicated being vegetarian; one person prefers minimal red meat. We'll have beef in the lasagna, and hotdogs for lunch (kosher premium), but the other occasions will be self-serve (Indian tacos, breakfast burrito), so you can opt out of ingredients you don't want. (BTW, does anyone want jalapenos for a breakfast burrito? We'll have scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, and salsa for topping, plus any remaining chopped tomatoes and onions from Indian Tacos).
as far as yogurt...I have never tried yogurt I dont like but...Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Blueberry, peach..for me pretty much every fruit flavor I'm cool with.
And I hope you didnt mean the jalapenos would be in the burritos (like we can add or omit those right????) I dont wanna sound picky but I dont handle spicy food well at all..
The breakfast burrito will be self-assembled, so only what you want. See, I love jalapenos in mine (see Sonic's Breakfast Burrito Supreme, for example).
The only other spicy food is Indian tacos, and you compile those as you like. I got medium salsa.
I think I can handle medium salsa, I eat medium salsa con queso so I'll be ok w/ that but jalapenos are icky!! haha.
