2013 Retreat

Looking ahead to Spring, how many interested people might there be for our fifth RAR Retreat?
Mid- to late-May has always seemed to work best, so I'm looking at May 16-19. Input, please!

Do you mind if I ask what the purpose of the gathering is? Is it just for people with a common misery to hang out and find some enjoyment for a few days?

the purpose is healing and celebration - though there isn't a forced focus on healing work; like other available retreats.

The healing comes from friendship, feeling wholly accepted, being in a place where no explanation is needed.

Some people feel healing from the spiritual ceremony of the sweatlodge. I dont feel comfortable explaining the process as others can do it better but, for me, I experienced healing from feeling completely safe and nurtured. I felt cleansed.

Though in slightly pessimistic-sounding simplicity...yes that kind of is what it is. I'd prefer substituting misery for trauma
