Restless Legs Syndrome Support Group
Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) may be described as uncontrollable urges to move the limbs in order to stop uncomfortable, painful or odd sensations in the body, most commonly in the legs. Often sufferers think they are the only ones to be afflicted by this peculiar condition and are relieved when they find out that many others also suffer from it.
Stay tuned!!
Also being told they were growing pains and then they didn't know what to say when I was growing.
That was like 20 years ago. Now I have a diagnosis and was trying to see if I was alone.
And Myangle123, I have sleep apnea and am resistent to the cpap machines. I tear them off in the middle of the night or some weird thing so I can understand sleep deprivation very well. One less thing with this new med to calm the wild beast.
I hope things get better. have you tried sleep aides from Doc? I have something that helps its called Seroquel. Like I said it doesn't keep me asleep because I can't breathe but it gewts me to sleep and allows me to get back to sleep after a non breathing episode. Take Care.
I am hanging in with my holistic method which has done better than any meds.
I can totally relate with the pain and frustration. And of course no sleep. So many nights stretching to get some movement and spasms in my back and cramps from waist down.
Hang in and keep trying different combos or try something like holistic. I don't recommend vitamins so much as herbs from plants not animals and make sure they are not medicinal herbs but herbs that are specifically food herbs.
Hope whatever you do you try to get as much rest as you can. Hopefully you can take naps if necessary.
Take care,
Pepe's
Like you, I also get compliments about how toned and nice my legs are. Probably from the constant moving.
