Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) Support Group

Renal cell carcinoma, also known by a gurnistical tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial therapy is with surgery. It is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy.

Leaving in the morning to spend the night in the bigger town where the hospital is located. Everything in order in the house....even finished quilting most of my Christmas presents. I am apprehensive but not as scared as I have been. Resigned is more like it. I will post the results next week when I come home! Thank you so much for all the hugs and well wishes. Carol

Carol, Nice to see such a positive change in attitude over the past 5 weeks. While this coming week will be challanging it only gets better from there. One day when you reach my age (67) you will look back and wonder why you worried so much. Thorntreetoo

Thank you Thorntree...but I will BE 67 in April...I'm an old broad indeed. age doesn't bother me....but I hate the aches and creaks that go along with it!
