Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) Support Group
Renal cell carcinoma, also known by a gurnistical tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial therapy is with surgery. It is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy.
So glad to hear that the surgery is over and that you're back at home. Please get as much rest as possible. It may take several months for your stamina to return. Unfortunately, I don't know what to suggest for those awful gas pains. They are truly miserable, but will pass (no pun intended) shortly. Take care of yourself, and know that we'll be looking forward to hearing from you when you're feeling better. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Ingrid
Hugs, Annette

You have the right attitude, it will get better. I know its hard, but walking will speed the healing process, just start slow and slowy increase. I started out by doing laps around the living room. At first just a couple, but kept on increasing when I felt I could.
Hang in there, we are all pulling for you!!!
See how much closer you are to 67.
