Renal cell carcinoma, also known by a gurnistical tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial therapy is with surgery. It is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy.

My husband went in for his first 3 month check, his chest xray, abdomen ultra sound and blood work came back good....now we wait for the next 3 months. He's doing great back to work and feeling great. I can now have a little breakdown(haha). Take care everyone. Kaye

6month was just blood work and 9 mo he said will be a cat scan. Fingers crossed for all of us

it's always the hardest when it scan time, your news was great to hear, i am happy for you both.. You can relax now, we all go thru this before scan time so you are not alone, always remember this...
