Renal cell carcinoma, also known by a gurnistical tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial therapy is with surgery. It is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy.
The anxiety your are feeling is perfectly normal. We face that every three months....so totally understand. If you haven't had any problems, it's very likely that all is fine. Continue to take like "one day at a time" and enjoy it. None of us are promised tomorrow. Take care, my friend.

Nope you're not nuts or paranoid! Like msgrace said, it's definitely normal to feel the nervousness. I'm post year 3 now and still get it - although it seems to get a bit less and less for me. Last year I had to postpone my followup and wouldn't you know it, I started getting twinges of pain in various areas. Bone pain, flank pain, etc. Doc's did a few extra tests and turned out to be nothing anywhere. I've read soooo many peoples' posts about the apprehension before followups. Just hang in there and fortunately the time does pass pretty quick. (hugzz)
