Well vday went quite well. I set my expectations very low. I did what I do every year which is have a nice breakfast set up for kids with their vday cards and a small gift and some candy. Then I set my H coffe up and leave him his favorite chocolates. I put a cute balloon in his car with a chocolate rose. No card since I'm tired of writing, we will get through this on every card.

He sent me a text mid morning with happy vday and I love you. I expected he would come home his usual Tuesday time (9 or 10h. Since it is his day to have his oc.) I figured he wouldn't tell the mother he had plans and then just expect me to be ready to go eat when ever. But he shocked me by coming home at 6;30 and I shocked him by cleaning our bedroom and putting on nice new sheets.

He had good chocolates and wrote a very sweet card and took me out to red lobster. Yum.

We came home and he lit candles and we had some bedroom fun. We also almost lit the damn room on fire when the candle burst into a huge flame and he blew it out splattering hot wax all over himself. Without missing a beat he got right back into action. I didn't realize until a little while later that he got wax all over himself and a few small burns. Lol. Now that's a trooper.

I expected very little and was pleasantly surprised with. What I got

H bought me a beautiful bracelet and a cutsie card with a nice sentiment written in it (short but sweet). He made a fabulous dinner of (prepare to be jealous, ladies): mushroom risotto with champagne and vanilla, panko-breaded fish with truffle oil, and snow peas. I've not been feeling too well the last few days and went to bed at 8:45pm. MC today was pretty good and we spent a lot of it telling each other what efforts from the other we were appreciative of. (H seemed frustrated that I'm not "over it" even though he's been trying to be such a nice guy lately. Sigh!) All in all a nice day.
