i believe god didnt create the suffering here, humans did. but he can help us to heal, to come back into the light. he cares so much for us, we found our way here, and to all of the other help we seek. it is not always easy, but you, and all of us can find our way. keep the hope, and may you find peace.

Dee's right. God didn't make this happen to us. I may not have a lot of faith at this point, but I have to believe at least that. What we've been through is awful and disgusting and... well, completely shitty, if you'll forgive my language. If there is a God, He, She, It, whatever, doesn't have anything to do with the dark. God (again if He/She/etc exists, still not sure on that one, will get back to you) is in the light. In us surviving and being strong for each other. That's where the divine is. The devine will never be found in the evil and dredges of society where our rapists are. Maybe together, we'll all be able to find that divine, that light, that hope. I know I won't be able to alone.

I understand you frustration. I cursed God for while because he allowed me be raped. However, God didn't rape me. He didn't cut my soul; he helped me heal it. It's moments when we the the least amount of love for God that we need him the most. He is here for you when you are ready to turn to him.
