One night about 2 years ago, my (soon-to-be-ex) husband and I were getting ready for bed, and he wanted his "sleeping pill". I wasn't in the mood and I told him so, he said fine and laid down. I wasnt tired yet so I started reading a book. A few minutes later he rolls over and starts rubbing up on me, and again I tell him I was not in the mood. He didn't listen, and kept rubbing up on me, so I turned over, and scooted to the edge of the bed. He followed me and started rubbing up on me even more and eventually penetrated me, without my consent. I tensed up, pulled away from him, yelled at him, turned back over onto my back and told him to just get it over with. Afterwords, I felt really dirty. I went into the bathroom and cried in the shower. That was the last time I was ever physical with him, or any man really, and when I think about that night, I end up crying.

I know rape is forced sexual activity with out your consent, but my question is, was this rape? I didn't enjoy this. I just laid there like a zombie while he was gettin his rocks off, kinda zoned out. And I know he penetrated me with out my consent, but I did tell him to just get it over with so I wouldn't have to hear him gripe and complain and yell at me. I've never told anyone about this either.
